These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of afriroamsafaris.com and any services provided by Afriroam Safaris ("we", "us", "Afriroam"). By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once we receive your signed booking form (or written email confirmation) and the deposit. The lead traveller is responsible for accuracy of all booking details.
2. Pricing
Prices are quoted in USD and include the items specified in your booking confirmation. Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, government taxes or fuel surcharges, we'll notify you of any changes before final payment.
3. Payment
- 20–30% deposit due to confirm booking
- Balance due 45–60 days before travel
- Late bookings (within 60 days): full payment required at booking
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, M-Pesa, PayPal (4% surcharge)
4. Cancellation
- More than 60 days: full refund minus 10% admin fee
- 31–60 days: 50% refund
- 0–30 days: no refund
We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover cancellations.
5. Force majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control: pandemics, political unrest, weather, airline strikes, etc. We will work to reschedule or refund where possible.
6. Liability
Afriroam acts as a booking agent for accommodation, transport, park entry and activities provided by third parties. We carry professional liability insurance and require all our partners to carry their own.
You participate in safari activities at your own risk and must have valid travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage.
7. Changes by us
In unusual circumstances we may need to substitute a lodge or alter the route. We'll always offer equal-or-better alternatives.
8. Disputes
These Terms are governed by Kenyan law. Disputes will be referred to KATO arbitration in the first instance.
